Exhaust putty

Had a look round my exhaust last night and notice a few blobs of putty,my question is could this kind of temp repair cause an mot failure?

thanks,i had a exhaust bandage on a car many years ago and thought it failed on that,oh well must have dreamt it

it could be that it does, im no MOT tester, however aslong as its not a major leak i cant see why it would

If it is leaking it will fail.

if the exhaust blows in any shape or form its a fail
vw golf mk4 ARZ 1.8T pipercross panel filter, xenon headlights, JOMS coilovers, forge 007p with green spring, audi tt anti roll bar, 3inch ebay trubo back exhaust, COOKIES MONSTER STICKER(adds bhp I swear)
