Is this dump valve installed correctly?
« on: 30 March 2014, 18:09 »
I've just bought an agu golf 1.8t, and have noticed that there are a few minor problems with it, and as the  dump valve is one of the few modifications on it, I thought it may be contributing to the problem. The problem is that the turbo sometimes lags / the engine holds back when using the throttle.

Cheers, Mo

Also check it over for any fault codes etc then you can start sorting out where your issue lies.

It looks fine, with regards to the orientation I've contacted Forge about this and they claim their diverter valves are designed to operate fine regardless which way it is fitted. I have installed mine with the bottom of the diverter valve connected to the charge pipe too, but I might switch it around for aesthetics.
