Its probably never existed in the first place. Nothing about this apparent disappearance makes logical sense.
not the kind of thing you could fake though is it?

Malaysian officials release latest eye witness report of missing flight MH307. They now seem to think it landed on a remote island.

Well would you rather believe all the unlikely system failures and security breaches that have taken place to get this story to where it is now. Given, I doubt the plane and passengers are fake but it's not outside the realms of possibility by any means.
