Ok myself and Linzi want to do a track day type thing where we can hoon around without fear of killing people
Can anyone recommend places / days where you get the most available track time and tuition. Not really interested in supercars or the like; more interested in learning car control, driving techniques etc
Ta muchly

right Mr wrong section, just spoken to a mate who did this kinda thing at Combe,
he HIGHLY recommends this

a TASTER as such,
but cheap enough for you both to do and see if you want to go to the next stage,
and is more focused on your driving manners than banzai track time.
Yes its a FORD or 2, BUT with both of you doing it, the more costly £345 EACH days are liable to be too much.
PS, let me know if your doing it, might book too

Most track days will normally have an instructor present, who will come out for a session with you.
The big issue here is that you are risking your car.
This is why people love the 'supercar experience' days so much - nothing is at risk.
You will have far more fun and it will be far more rewarding taking part in actual motorsport events.
Why not look into going to a local motor club and consider taking part in their events?

Also consider going to the dinky little track at Llandow:

There are loads of events going on out there, they're just badly publicised unless you know where to look.

Thanks for your input chaps :afro:
