Why wont it go back  :cry:

iv replaced the motor and it wont go back using the allen key, clould it have come off the runner? it was sooo hot today! it needs to be open

it goes up.. but not in.. any idea's!  :laugh:

my mate got a mk4 the other day (1.8 no turbo) god dam there slow! lol

his works fine.. i was fidaling around with it.. i dont really wana pull down my head lining.. as i know that wont go back in one peice

dont have patients with sunroofs, had a mk3 that didnt work sliding back, time i finshed with it trying to fix it it didnt work at all ! lol  :grin: :grin:

you mean its jammed? did it go back straight or has one side missed the runner?

dunno if its the same on vw but i know on vaux that if it doesnt go back straight then there are tabs beneath the runner that stop the roof coming back and breaking, roof lining off job to push them while someone pulls the glass.

It don't go back at all.. Well if I have to take the head lining out I might as well Anni style it then ...
