I moved it here as its INFO, so should be in the info section
The main forum is just getting stupid with stickys and a pain to load on a phone or dial up for example.

I'll just have to store my rubbers in a closet!

Here is another interesting Summer tyre review.
Still no comparative review for the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 tyres.
Trust the Russians to measure rim protection.
I was right all along that the Bridgestones have the best at 5.5 mm, closely followed by the Continental 5P tyres at 5 mm.
Note also the tyre weights. The lightest being the Continental followed by the Pirelli.
Overall, the Continental 5P gets the nod here.

Another tyre review:

This time the Michelin Pilot Super Sport comes out on top.

Unfortunately, they have not included the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 or the Continental ContiSport 5P.

Continental have just launched the new ContiSportContact 5 and ContiSportContact 5 SUV, which replace the ContiSportContact 3. The ContiSportContact 5 sits just below the max performance Sport Contact 5P in the range.

That should be 92Y?
The 88Y tyres are not the correct ones.  :lipsrsealed:

Reading some bumph from Continental earlier and an artical in Car which more or less confirmed my thoughts on Winter Tyre use in the summer and therefore all year round. Continental recommend Winter Tyres should be used in this country from October to April which makes it 7 months of the year. They also suggest that it is better to use Winter Tyres in the summer than Summer Tyres in the winter. Under such conditions, Winter Tyres wear less than Summer Tyres. On average, Winter Tyres perform better than Summer tyres for all year use.

Why is that cat chasing that pidgeon?
