MAF sensor brings up the traction control light when faulty.

cheers for all your help guys.

I took some time over the weekend to look at this and I noticed that when the fault light came on it stopped the brake lights from working. I checked all the relays and changed out the brake light switch and it seems to have sorted it. Touch wood, it hasn't come on again since I changed it on Saturday. I'd recommend anyone that gets this issue checks their lights are working whilst the traction control warning light has switched to permanently on. Thanks again for the offers of help
