« on: 29 July 2010, 10:19 »
I need to replace my bushes as they gone to s**t, but the car pulls to left so gonna change the wishbones and ball joints as well.
I cant find wishbones any where that have the ball joint's fitted as well as the bushes its driving me mad can any one give me a good site or part numbers that i can search for.
Ive tried euro car parts but they don't sell them with the ball joints  :undecided:

best bet is to get a set of second hand wishbones, a set of AudiTT rear bushes, and genuine vw balljoints.

get them all together, bushes pressed etc and then replace in one go.

Or just buy a set of AudiTT bushes and get a garage to replace them for you.

i bought wishbones from euro car parts and ball joints as it not big job to replace them if they go wrong, got audi tt bushes pressed in and put them on although it was a bit of a job as couldnt stop ball joint turning to get the locking nut off lol so since i was putting on new wishbones i just took a grinder to the old wishbone and cut it in half lol it gave up the fight after that. will look for part numbers and price. get some of that halford shock and unlock stuff it was way better than wd40 for loosening up the bolts used since on the bike and it good stuff

Parts numbers for genuine items from VW or TPS can be found in the TPS Parts Price List thread which is a sticky post

why do you especially want the arm and ball joint as a one piece?

a 2 piece design saves forking out for the whole thing in the future if the ball joint duffs up
