Getting there mate, one thing to remember is never ever be scared of the welder or it will bite you. Just go into a weld with confidence and it will go alot better

get one then! Can't find fault with the one I bought tbh. Sure people in the know will be all 'oh you get what you pay for' but for light diy car body repairs I don't see what else I would need  :undecided:

Yes mate, a factory fitted MK1 sunroof is the same as a MK2.

only you can decide what you want to do.... heres a few things to consider, do you intend to keep the colour? Do you intent to keep the engine?... its a 5 door so only light mods would work IMO.   If it were me it would be old skool look all the way with it.

sweet, that widens my search for a sunroof!   think am going to keep it pretty original inc the engine(maybe just a weber carb) as for colour i will have to see how funds go but if i were to have it resprayed it wqould be either the same colour or a vw golden brown colour.

hi mate good on yer
please dont go the fully custom/show look.
personally imho a car is to be driven not trailered around everywhere. go for a good resto and good non showy mods that make it go/stop n handle better, you'll be much happier with a car you can enjoy
