1.8 20v or 2.0 16v running ITB's, some smoothing here and there, a decent respray and a phat set of rims :evil:

even if you keep the 1.5 carb and mint it, its going be :cool:

cant wait to see progress either way! :D

yeah im thinking first year get it mint all round then next year an engine swap probly to an abf running itbs  :undecided:


also have my eye on a cheap mk2 gti as daily  :lipsrsealed:

nice mk2 gti daily. my mate is selling one down here. doesn't want a lot for it.

ABF running ITB's in this mk1 would be uber :cool:

after advice on what level of prep work to do before sending it off to be welded and resprayed. should i go all out and strip out the windows/dash/ engine(which i could remove but not fit back in!)

The more you remove the cheaper the bill should be due to less labour.

all donations welcome chuff! :grin: got my eyes on some shiney new bits for the vxr but i need to order these repair panels and a battery to see if i can get her running! not giving up yet!!! :rolleyes:
