I like the black against the white! Any pic of the front badge?

My front badge is just standard, it stands out against the black grille more if left as chrome.

I've gone for Red and my GTD is pure white too.

Be good to see so pics if you don’t mind ?

I would but I don't have my car yet it's still on order.

Personally I don't care if people think I'm trying to turn it into a GTI because I'm not, clearly it says GTD. I just think the red looks sportier and stands out better. Besides what's wrong with having red it may be an oil burner but it's a sport variant so why not highlight it as such. Just IMO.

I personally would remove the GTI badges, makes it look much sleeker IMO. If my car wasn't a lease I'd remove mine.

For a GTD I agree with everything you’ve said Jason, with a JB4 you’ll be giving standard GTIs a run for their money anyway . For a GTI though if it’s not a PP then red badge skins are a no no IMO.

I've got red badgeskins on my non-PP as I wanted them to match the other red bits on the car. I have always debadged my cars in the past but didn't feel I could do that to a GTI.

I don't think you're alone in that view though hog_hedge and I do need to avoid eye contact if someone spots that my calipers don't have GTI on them haha. Maybe I should upgrade the brakes, and add the diff... or maybe I should have just waited for the PP to come out!

Anyway, I've voted red but I think red or black will look great.

I voted red as that's what I had on my old white GTD, and think the Red really contrasted well with the paint (and colour matched the Red calipers)
