Clubsport Edition 40
« on: 13 November 2017, 22:24 »
Hey guys,

I'm interested in one of these but see prices fluctuate from £26500 upto mid £30's. I've been offered a good spec one, delivery mileage for £28k - should I be grabbing that with both hands?

Thanks

Cheers buddy - done my due diligence, price checking, read a range of reviews, but ultimately it's a personal choice on car & then driving the best deal.

If you can afford to and you want one, then yes... They're not making any more of them!

Some dealers thinking £35k for a car with 9k miles is a good deal

Can't wait to get it today! I'm guessing you're pleased with yours (stupid question)!

At the end of Aug before the Sept "67 reg" changeover, an Essex VW dealer had a couple of white 5 door CS with practically delivery mileage up for £25.5k.   I was very tempted, but the spec was base for a CS and the lack of heated seats put me off.

I bought one of these a few weeks ago for £24500. It is pretty basic apart from Discovery Pro/Dyno and the all important DGS. I'm pretty chuffed with the car and the deal, in fact I'm very chuffed. I can live without heated seats as it's not leather, otherwise that might have also been a deal breaker for me too.
