Brake lights are just on outers I think. Never really taken much notice to be honest

Full brake lights are much brighter.

Yes standard is just the outer brake light.  5x brake light obdeleven/vcds mod enables the inner leds too. Looks much better and how it should have been from factory imo.

After plucking up some more courage (using the excellent stickies on VWROC forum) have been using the OBD dongle so now have:

Stop/start disabled (yippee!!)
5x brake lights
Headlamp washers off
Fan level display on auto
DRL 75% with headlights

The car hasn't started up and driven off on its own after tinkering so good result!

Got a trade in value of 15164 against a 3 door manual R pre reg(18) 10 miles with no extras.
Lot of them coming out now before the plate change.

Decided on an early start yesterday due to the weather forecast bein hot as t turned out to be so 06.30 onwards did both cars full snow and 2 bucket wash dried them off and got some more wax on then.
Grabbed my phone for a cpl of pics before going out on the yellow peril
