1.6 petrol starting issues
« on: 07 April 2019, 12:15 »
My missus has got a 2001 1.6 petrol and just recently it's started playing up, it'll start perfectly fine from cold but when it's warm itll sit there turning over and not fire. Which is proving to be a royal pain for my ears because it's happening everyday now. The wife will pop to the shops with out any issues then come back and it won't start and that's when my pain begins.
I've had the fuel pressure regulator off and it had a load of crap in it so I cleaned that out and it seemed to start alright, but then it didn't so that obviously wasn't it.
