Nope. That’s how they come out the factory.
Sure it's clear on a 7  :smiley:

Yes, My 2015 Mk7 was plain but my Brother in laws 2016 Mk7 has the patterned version  :huh:

My kind, caring, and jumpy GTI tried to save me from crashing in to a wall this morning by slamming on the brakes for me. Except it was a hedge, and I was never going to touch it.

Still. Thanks for trying!

In all seriousness though, this is an excellent safety feature, and could well save the life of a child you didn't spot running behind your car when coming out of a space. A pretty niche scenario, but it could happen!

I can't recall one, there have been plenty of posts on the subject on various threads but not a dedicated one.

I’ll save you the hassle, buy the GTI PP unless you seriously can’t afford it.
