It was a character used in the american advertising campaign for the GTi, think its supposed to be a rabbit, a fast 1 at that

Basically it's a gimick to make more Dollar!
They do a mascot, keyring and valve caps, etc! Go on the US VW website-its got the details on there about it!,
Its a good design and looks quite cool. Just ordered sum bits up! (just hope they deliver)

Yeah it certainly does come with 4 tails, the large Fasts were only sent to those in the US who bought a new GTI. I bought both my large fasts off ebay.com, one had been opened and the last one I bought is still in the wrapper!
I even got the added bonus of a DVD which was again a marketing advert about the GTI, also US only.

americans call golfs "rabbits", so a gti is a "FAST" rabbit  :smiley:
