recaro harness guide's
« on: 25 August 2008, 19:41 »
Ok guy's really could do with your help on this one.
these are my harness guide's off my recaro's. For ages now i have been looking into getting these replace'd with some brushed alu one's.
This has turned out to be practically impossible due to the very complex shape and cost involved.Gulstream came up with the idea of just making a sleave that fit's over, this gave me hope but also turned out to be a non-starter.
I have been looking at vinyl that would shrink wrap over it, came to a dead-end but havn't done to much research on this idea yet.
I am at the stage now were my only realistic chance of achieving this mod is to get it painted. It is possible to get aluminum dust which can be painted on then treated and sanded.
My question is does anyone know of a company or a paint shop who can do this the only thing i have found has been computer geek's who make there own equipment using this technique.
These are the harness guide's  please help if you can.  :undecided:

I don't know of any specific companies to recommend TC, but have you tried the specialist motorbike/hotrod painters and airbrush artists?

These guys can normally create any effect/finish your after?

I don't know where you are based, but these guys should be able to help you

http://www.houseofkolor.co.uk/

They do entire ranges of paints and paint effects for the "max power" oriented types, but they are very good at what they do. If they can't do a paint effect for you then no-one can
