For me that would just get dirty too quickly.

Anyone got any suggestions for a rubber type backing to go under the blank holes?

think something was suggested but the thread got lost when the forum was down  :sad:

Back on topic.

For the black rubber stuff - try your local tyre dealer, and beg for an old truck inner tube (or two - you gotta blow one up and go down the beach!  :grin:) - and trim the good bits from the tube to fit.  A couple of layers, folded from one piece of tube might do the job.

I can't really think what else would to the job - appart from grip mat - but that is full of holes!  :undecided:

....It all seems a whole lot of effort just for a footrest. What's wrong with the stock plastic footrest? - It's not slippy and it's easier to clean.
