Bloody Traffic Advisory's!!

Hi Guys,

How can I get my TP thing switched off Its driving me bannanas, every time I listen to my tunes I get interruptions from local radio stations....I have read the manual and pressed buttons but cannot get the TP symbol off the display!!!!!!!!  help!!!!!  

Oh its the standard VW radio casette and 6 cd changer system installed.

Never used the standard vw h/u. But look for a menu/source/mode button or something like that. In the menu options there will be an option TA on or TA off. Switched the bloody thing off. TA is the biggest waste of time ever, Only ever tells you about a traffic jam when your already stuck in the thing

whilst we're on the subject then: anyone know how to turn off T.INFO on an alpine h/unit. whenevr I try anything I end up turning on a whole host of other alerts!! No mention of it whatsoever in the manual.... very useful im sure! (mines the 7894RB)
