Strange clunk when reversing
« on: 26 November 2014, 21:13 »
So, whether the car is sat there for a week or a day, put it into reverse and back up...get maybe 2 or three foot then clunk, as if someone is tapping the brakes (obviously I am not).

I had a good look underneath, everything is in order bar a split outer CV joint, which I'll be replacing shortly. I can't see this being the cause. I think it maybe coming from the dogbone mount, like it's just 'springing' after being put into reverse after sitting still for a while.

150PD...any ideas? I am stumpeddddddddddd

Both of which I'll be replacing shortly, guess I'll have to wait and see.  :undecided:
