Hi I have a mk4 gt tdi 115,
I have the aim engine and i am trying to change the timing belt.
The issue i have is the i can not get the tensioner to turn back as the rod that is supposed to retract down will not go down far enough it only moves a couple of mm no wear near enough to put the locking tool in and give enough slack on the belt.
Can any help me with this?
