Hey again
Truth be told, they can be repaired.
The reason the rims are not
known as able to be repaired is mainly because they are coated in a metallic gloss finish.
Many cars dont have this finish s it is very expensive i.e the reason why the rims are pver-priced.
They can be reapaired but the chances are more likely that they will damage the rim more instead of make it better.
So many dealers and panel beating shops etc are not happy to take the risk that they will have a return and will then have to repair the rim
at there own cost. Many companies would rather not do this.
That was my dealer and panel beaters story. I trust the word of my panel beater as he recently panel beated several dents out of my Pajero
Due to incoherant (is that the right word) children who threw rocks at (probably out of Jealousy
He has tried buffing the Monza rims and repairing them but says it is very difficult to fix.
So new rims are probably the best deal, besides second hand or repaired rims would mean a loss of value so i vote get new rims.....
Cheers all
