i dont know why peeps are saying they are not repairable, mine got repaired no problem, depends who does them , they are a tricky wheel to get the polish effect finish on them.
Made me laugh , i had a slow punture last week and took the car to national tyre centre, it took them 20 minutes to get the tyre off the rim because the fitter admitted he was struggling to get the tyre off without marking the rim or damaging the tyre also. i could tell sat in the waiting room with 3 fitters around the machine trying to get it off with me looking on from the waiting room!. i think it was the the tougest job of the day! all for just £15!!

Hey again

Truth be told, they can be repaired.

The reason the rims are not known as able to be repaired is mainly because they are coated in a metallic gloss finish.
Many cars dont have this finish s it is very expensive i.e the reason why the rims are pver-priced.
They can be reapaired but the chances are more likely that they will damage the rim more instead of make it better.
So many dealers and panel beating shops etc are not happy to take the risk that they will have a return and will then have to repair the rim at there own cost.  Many companies would rather not do this.

That was my dealer and panel beaters story. I trust the word of my panel beater as he recently panel beated several dents out of my Pajero  Due to incoherant (is that the right word) children who threw rocks at (probably out of Jealousy  He has tried buffing the Monza rims and repairing them but says it is very difficult to fix.

So new rims are probably the best deal, besides second hand or repaired rims would mean a loss of value so i vote get new rims.....

Cheers all
