here is good translation of the Russian ETKA for those who dont have it installed locally
VW Parts Catalogue (http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/urltrurl?url=http%3A%2F%2F62.117.101.85%2Faudivw%2F&lp=ru_en&tt=url)
might be worth making this a sticky
-
Nice one Gambit.
Rather than make it sticky, maybe jv could stick it with the rest of the links on the main page.
I'll make it sticky for now so that we don't lose it........
-

-

-
Blankety Blank
Anyone got it on CD/DVD Rom?
-
Try ETOS instead.
Very similar to ETKA except better.
-
I have got ETOS on CD :smug: but it is from 2004, anyone who can suggest a way to share i will be happy to oblige
-
Easiest thing to do is download it from the edonkey network, I use the emule client.
Best thing about ETOS is you can download price updates from the web. But the only problem with is it does not have the ATP function, where you can look up a part number and find out what cars it was fitted to. You also cant seem to look up paint spray or touch up sticks, although if you find out the part number it will give you a price for it.
I just keep both installed on my compy :)
-
what is the edonkey network?

www.vagcat.com is one i also use and have done for bloody ages, it's pretty damn useful and has helped me source parts that the dealers had no clue about in the past.
-
Just go google , type in "ETKA 7.0 piratebay" It will come up with a download link 2nd one down, If you no about torrent file, you can download it, If you dont no about torrent file's. Wiki it, then come back to the link

Got to keep these things up to date

Ive found myself using http://www.wagenstad.com/index.php more recently due to the fact it doesn't go offline all the time like Vagcat does.

Ha brilliant. I now own a current version purchased from eBay anyway. It only cost £2.49 and covers VAG vehicles from 1947 to 2012.
