Can I use Two 1 year no claims?
« on: 10 October 2012, 13:38 »
Hi guys, I have 1 years no claim from 2011-2012 (eCar), when I renewed with my new insurer for 2012-2013 (Asda) I didn't include my NCB from eCar because it was suprisingly cheaper.

My question is, can I combine my 1 years NCB from 2011-2012 with my 1 years NCB from 2012-2013 to make it 2 years in when it's time to renew in 2013? (With a 3rd insurer as I'm getting a MK2 in 2013, neither eCar or Asda are willing to insure it)

You have one year's NCB unfortunately.  It may be worth speaking to insurer(note speaking, not ticking computer boxes) to see if they can work with it as 2 years.

Best of luck with it.

Oh blast! Thank you Ollie, guess my mk2 dream is pushed back further, luckily eCar are willing to insure me if I get a MK3 or MK4 as my first ncb was with them. just need to wait for this year to finish I guess, and maybe that can class as 2 year? Will have another word with them all.
