Yea but I'm going to need say an 8mm hole minimum.
Plus there is the chance of drilling through a wire on the car side etc.
Bit risky I think now.

just the way i would do it and id drill from the car side and if you did two holes ans split the wire you wouldnt need an 8mm hole just two 3 or 4 mm holes

did it have door speakers in already ? why not use those wires and connect them to amp at the head unit plug ?

Drilling from inside the car means taking the dash out!

Nope! Want good quality speaker cable direct from amp to speaker!

No point in buying decent speakers if you going to skimp on wiring them up!

4ohm speakers dont really need all that thick a wire tbh.
for the components i would use the existing plugs that go through the multi-plug. the wire isnt too thin either.

Listen guys!  The new door speakers are MID/BASS units.
They are being amped.
I wish to run speaker cable direct from the amp to the speaker!

I am certainly NOT having any joints or thin wires!

Took off the footwell kick panels today and had a good look!
What I want to do is quite feasible, only slight problem is its double skinned in that area!
Will also have to undo the door stay to drill. But should be straightforward.
