Well if you want an R then you want an R, but it wouldn’t be my choice for a 3000 mile a year sub £40k package.
I’d forego the drag racing capabilities and get something that would be a bit more fitting for the limited use and budget restriction. Something that had a 45 on the end but wasn’t a Mercedes. Or even aClubsport with a few options which would be well under budget.
But that’s just me.

I have considered the Clubby, might still get one, My ocd's do get set off when i see the front end and one side is all blocked off and ones side is open , Really like the front of the new R

Yea right  added nice wheels , dcc , winter pack and cam and was up to 42’500 will have to squeeze the dealership
