A standard ABF will destroy a standard 20vT though, ABF holds the power for longer.

i see no mention of mk3 or mk4 there laddy :tongue:  be more specific when you're slagging my favourite engine :grin:

Mk3 16v is 1160kg, 8.1 0-60
Mk4 1.8t is 1203kg, 7.9 0-60


However in gear figures are interesting
16v, 30 to 70: 7.8, 30 to 50: 8.2, 50 to 70: 11.1
1.8t, 30 to 70: 8.3, 30 to 50: 6.5, 50 to 70: 9.2

The graph from Len's car is when it had K&N panel filter and exhaust, but they don't really make much difference. One or two horses at the most.
