out of interest seens as its a first car i could not afford insurence on a 1.8 turbo, but now im bored with my 1.8 and want more bhp and more torque, just wondering how much i would get from a remap.

i think it will proberbly only be about 10 - 20 bhp if im lucky (in which case theres no point in wasting my money unless i get a real gain in MGP and torque), anyone on here done it, and if you have how did it affect
a)MPG
b) torque

as im mainly wanting more torque untill my insurence runs out and i can get a 1.8T

Hello,

Maybe 8bhp/10lbft at the max.  The main gains will be in the midrange and with the trottle response, the car will feel more aggresive and across the whole rpm range.

MPG should be around the same if not a little better
