Mk2 Golf 16v.
« on: 13 March 2012, 20:44 »
Bought this back in January. Not had chance to do much to it, and i wont in the near future due to buying a house :undecided:

But, it doesn't need much doing to be honest. Unlike my last MK2, i prefer driving this one rather than polishing it.

Sorry for the MASSIVE last photo

Needs a bit of paint here and there, but other than that its pretty good  :smug:

I don't know, I always think black is worse to clean.  My previous MK1 was Alpine White and yes it got dirty easily but you could get away with giving it a quick wash and all was good.  Black however, quick wash = water marks and stains, they show up so much more.

White is a pain in the summer with bugs and tar though.  :undecided:

Black is far worse. Especially for scratches and paint imperfections. But looks the best once it's clean IMO.
