I also used linised oil once and it faded after few days, I have done front bumper with heatgun and its great, but rear makes me sick of trying... thanks for replyes i will take care of trims at summer..

Looked at mine earlier and think i will have to get some decent cleaner for mine too some good recommendations on this topic so got some ideas what to go for  :smiley:

Degrease the texture FIRST then a blow torch over the texture very quickly.

Cquartz and Gtechnic are ok but they won't hold old bumpers black..you have to use something like Autoglym bumper care (something oily) but please dont use linseed oil...

You can butcher old bumpers with cquartz and gtechnic. Be careful as you can't remove them products that easy.

for all my plastic trims and engine bay i use aero 303.

the stuff is amazing. protects, cleans and lasts for ages.

I have used boiled linseed oil before and it lasted a long time :smiley:
