I removed my badges as best i could, got 99% of the glue off, then used wd40 for the rest, but now its left a rectangular faded / whiteish patch,, not that noticeable,,  whats the best cure,  ive washed it again and used some polish ,,  would t cut be next?

i debadged my car last week and used autoglym intensive tar remover and it looks as if a badge was never there.

I remove the badges off pretty every car I buy but I too recently removed the badges from my audi and used autoglym intensive tar remover which normally does the job but Im still left with the badges outline. I was told that it would take some serious cutting to remove so I opted just to replace the badges.

I did try my DA polisher and some medium compound before replacing the badges and it didn't make a difference
