Ok so I have searched and all sorts comes up and I wonder if anyone has had same issues
Driving in 3rd yesterday and I changed down to 2nd and got no drive at all and then the car stalled, On checking the car is stuck in 3rd gear although if you look at the linkages it's all moving. I have read about the gear selector loosing a rivet and that means you loose gears and although time consuming I do wonder if I should get he box off to have a look? I am also guessing it's 1st and 2nd selector that's failed? But being stuck in 3rd does worry the box has finally said goodbye! (after 120'000 miles)
Any help or checks you know about welcomed
