« on: 24 January 2015, 12:00 »
My current wash mitt has now developed a couple of holes.

What's are people using and recommending?

Thanks

Hi Peter

I'm a convert to the WoWo lambswool mitt.  I have both the thumbed one and the non thumbed version, and both are excellent.  Very lightweight compared to other similar mitts and dry very quickly, which is important for the longevity of the mitt.  Hand wash them as you would a cashmere sweater to keep them in top condition and increase lifespan.  They come with a mesh drying bag which is a really useful.   I think WoWo are still doing 20% discount at the moment, see the thread at the top of this section for the code.

If you're having trouble sleeping you could always read my early review of the mitt, which is still going strong.

Other than these, Dodo Juice Tribble mitt is very good, or if you like a long haired mitt, then the DJ Wookie's Fist of Yeti mitt, though they do get very heavy when soaked.

I'll second that recommendation for the wo-wo. Used mine for the first time yesterday and it was excellent. I actually ordered a 2nd one to give to my brother but I kept it for myself  The addition of the mesh drying bag is a really good feature too.

Without it sounding like a sales pitch it might be worth including a twin layer drying towel too, especially with the GTIFORUM20 20% discount code!!

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

If you perfer to use a wash pad then try this: http://dooka.co.uk/dooka-wash-pads or this: http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/microfiber-madness-incredipad.html.  Both will outlast a mitt.

Neil,

Just looked at the website, following Santa purchasing your wash mitt, and I wanted to add a towel to the collection ready for the arrival of the R, and I cannot see it anywhere, is that correct?

Regards

Neil

Found it but cannot order it, does that mean it's out of stock?
