Badgeskin GTI badge covers
« on: 13 January 2019, 12:22 »
Shortly moving to a PP and not sure I like red badges. Does anyone have long term practical experience of how durable these stickies are? Have searched previous forum topics but durability is not a previous discussion.

You don't like red badges!?

I'm sure there'll be plenty who'll do you a swap.

I had gloss black on my std GTI as wanted something other than silver and didn't want to make it look like a Performance model by adding red. Really liked them and no issues after a year. Not sure about long term bit don't see why wouldn't last as long as long as car is washed sensibly - ie not a £6 hand wash..

Jim, by happy coincidence my new Performance will also be Indium Grey. I'm really liking the gloss black version you used.

Were these badgeskins or another make (I think there are some UK versions that might cost less)?

And........have you stayed with the standard red badges on your new car (colour?)

PS : does any member have experience of the version sold by EZM??

Yes, mine were Badgeskins. Don't be put off by the US website. They arrived pretty quick as well.

I've kept red on my current one and think they look great on Tungsten.
