okk, received a dvd head unit for xmas, the conector for it just has the wires coming off though to be atached streight to the standard wires, now does anyone have a wiring diagram for the standard conection block? or know which wires go to left front/back speeker, right front/back speekers ect.
in around 20 mins i will list each and every wire i need to connect. cheers

the wires i need to connect to the existing wires are
+12v constant
ground
reverse camera +12v (not got a reverse camera so leave unconected?)
power antenna/amplifier remote
rear left +
rear left -
rear right +
rear right -
front left +
front left -
front right +
front right -
+12v switched
parking break

Have a look at the wires on the rear and front speakers - that'll sort them out, leaving the power and earth which I think is red and brown. Attach the parking brake to the earth - you will be able to watch a DVD whilst moving. HOWEVER this is illegal so make up your own mind on this. The proper way to connect it to the handbrake.

yeah i was hoping someone would know the colours cause im not feeling my best today and cant be botherd to chase wires around the car :D but suposse ill have to take the door cards off and have a look at each wire colour. as for the parking break, im not gonna be watching dvds while driving so just need to make it so i can watch dvds when sat in car waiting for someone or something.
so sofar we have
+12v constant red?
ground brown?

iirc the red/yellow wire is switched? is this the same as 12v switched?

Look at the iso plug on your car and just match the pin number to the wire colour. :wink:

quick question. my car is 1999 which colours do i use then as you stated 2000 which im guessing is from 2000 onwards and then in the table its pre 1998?
