ok here i go again with a new project. its not a mk3 this time tho.
i have just managed to buy myslef a very very clean 1985 mk2 jetta.
the body and paint on this car is amazing.
interior is pretty good but fabric on door cars is starting to sag abit.
it came with new coilovers and a clean set of G60 wheels with audi centre caps.

this is her as i bought her

the first thing i wanted to do was to ad some really nice wheels. so i went to cades as i now no the owner of cades wheels who is just down the road from me. (i never new cades were named after his son)
anyway i had a great laugh with them and everybody in his office came out to see my car and take pictures.
they then brought out loads of wheels they wanted to try against my car. in the end i bought the gold flat faced ones but when i got home i couldnt stop thinking about the blue deep dish wheels so i am going back on tuesday to swap the ones i bought for the deep dish wheels. the spec of the wheels is 15" 8j ET20 so may have to roll the arches. also going to stretch some tyres onto them
here are some pics of my afternoon at cades and the gold wheels im taking back.

these are the ones im getting now but maybe in white

ok decided to get the wheels in blue as they dont have them in white anymore and only do them in blue. but i quite like the blue against the red now as it works well together.
just done a test fit of the wheels.
am going to need tyre stretch to fit them.
with be putting on 185 45 15. they are 15" 8j wide with an offset of ET20 front and rear.

 cheers mate yeah I can't wait to get the last set of 2 tyres. Had 2 tyres done so far. Can't afford the other 2 till next week. I went for 185 45's as I wanted a nice safe stretch.
Very happy with the result of them on my 8j wheels as I get some rim poke and not to much stretch. Just right.

If u rolled the lips on the arches flat u could have had 195s on there easilly. Nice jetter though all the same
