squeal on ignition...arrrggghhhh

i have recently bought a mk 4 gti (150 bhp) and it has started squealing when i start the car. Its does this 5 out the 10 times i start. if i turn the ignition gently it wont do it as much. spoken to a number of people and they all have told me different things. Any info would be great to my ears!

yep the old starter squeal my mk4 and gf beetle has this lol its character lmao
