can the standard immobiliser on a mk3 gti  be disconnected?????

basically no, best bet is to get a early ecu from like a l-reg gti, which has no immobiliser.
MK3 GOLF GTI 8V  now converted to 16v!!

Ive lost the keys for one of my gtis,I have managed to get in and have removed the back of the ignition but it will not start, i can see the black ring for the immobiliser but just wondered if there was an easy way to get it to go
