Suspension settings
« on: 05 January 2017, 13:26 »
I have an '88 16V fitted with Eibach Pro lowering springs (E8509-140) which gives a 20mm drop.

I have Eibach shims to go on the rear - I want to return the car to the original camber and tracking settings that it was at prior to installing the lowering springs.

Does anybody know which numbers I need to align, or should I get the car measured at a garage first then calculate from those measurements and fit afterwards?

I only ask as I have the rear stub axles off at the moment (disassembled to do both rear wheel bearings) so if I can put the shims on now rather than have to strip it all down again that would be lovely.

I have adjustable cam bolts for the front - these will obviously be set at the garage when I get the suspension set up.

Where can I find the original suspension settings for the 16V? Camber, caster and tracking for front and rear?
