Hmm really ? The website says they do  :undecided:

the standard halogen cluster takes 501's but the xenon cluster doesn't, also not sure sure if you know or not, but those H7's you ordered will only fit in the main beam and not the dipped

the only place you'll be able to use the 501's is in the passat light upgrade

Arrh

I followed the website and that's what it told me to get :'(

So what do i need for my GT TDI?

I need Side Lights, Headlights (normal driving, not main beam) and front indicators.

Heeeellllpppp.

CS

if this is your TDI

then you've got xenons

why do you need to buy new bulbs? do none of them work?

if you're using the powerblubs website, then you have to say you've got an R32 atwhich point the sidelight is still wrong EDIT and the indicator bulb, i know because i've had to change mine and the only place you can get them is VW or after market LED's

Arrrhhh again.

Right so does anyone have the 3 codes(Or links) of the bulbs I need?

The plan was as one of the side lights wasn't working to do the complete upgrade due to the hassle of changing the bulbs.

the H7's will fit but as main beam, those indicators are wrong too, sorry

you can actually do the sidelight without taking the light unit out, i've done both of mine, its a squeeze but you can do it with the light in place, the passenger side requires you to remove the battery though.

unfortunately have weird blubs is the price you pay for having OEM xenons, one thing i will stress is get a pair of protectors (about £30) i had a stone smash one of my clusters and they are £400 to replace each (halogen ones are £100)

the bulbs you want are posted in the other thread power bulbs one

Thanks - they are vinyl and quite thick they can peal off quite easily if you need to remove them - Its the same method as racing cars use.
