I cant see a 21 window samba being "mint" for 10.5k, unless they dont know the real value of what they are selling, I seen a min 21 window samba at Dubfreeze earlier in the year and the asking price for that was 18k

On the subject of Splitties and there value I was watching this on ebay, before the advert was pulled the bidding was at £480, and I think that it will have been pulled as there was a significantly bigger offer put in privately, probably in the region of 2k.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4542115295&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

I think he is being a little optimistic stating that it can be worth up to 50k once restored, I would put a more realistic figure on its value once restored at approx 22-25k

If I had the money and the time, I would be looking for such a project for myself.

Have been a big big fan of splitties and all things aircooled for as long as I can remember, may even swap one of the golfs for a bug / bay one day soon
