Title: Gen 1 Ghost on 19/20 plate GTI pp

Hi,

I'm in the process of swapping my Merc A-class (2018) for a mk7.5 2019 or 20 plate GTI PP.

I've just had the Autowatch Ghost (1st gen not 2nd) removed from my A class hoping to have it refitted on the GTI (when I buy it).

However, the installer wasn't sure if the 1st gen ghost was compatible with the GTI and said I may need the 2nd gen ghost.

Has anybody with a 19/20 plate GTI PP had the gen 1 Ghost installed successfully??

Don't want to have to pay for a new Ghost 2 when the one I already have (removed now) works fine.

Can't answer but I looked on their website since I was curious as to what this was and how it works. There's example page on their website for the Gen 2 which has a MK7 GTi in it. I'm sure if you contacted the manufacturer they'd be able to tell you straight away what cars it compatible with

The Gen 1 Ghost will be fine on the 7.5.
