clifford alarm draining battery
« on: 28 February 2015, 20:12 »
Hi all,
im picking up my new car tomorrow, a 1989 golf gti 16v  :smug:
the guy said that the battery drains in about 48hrs though if it isnt driven, he said its the clifford alarm doing it. The alarm is disarmed anyway as he has lost the keyfob for it. Not sure where to start. Can i just take the alarm off? It wont go off or anything will it? Ive googled and apparently this is quite common for alarms to drain the battery.
Anyone got an experience with this?
