Does anyone knowif a mk6 golf gti engine will fit in a mk4 golf gti?
Ive looked all over the net but cant seem to find anything out.
If its possible is it straight forward or a nightmare?
Thanks in advance

I'd imagine it is anything but straight forward!

It will be a nightmare but anything is possible with deep pockets.
Finding an engine will not be easy

Probably, since VAG have used the same engine mount setups on all their cars since day 1 near enough.

The 2 major issues with the tsi are the complexity of the wiring and the fact that TSI's have 8 flywheel bolts opposed to the normal 6! Tfsi has 6 though. oddness.
