I'm surprised the Mazda doesn't have tri spokes, looking at your car history!

Just a coincidence!... bought the golf with its spokes with the intention to get them straight off, the stang has them as standard for that year and it was the other halfs car.

Worste I find is a dash board rattle. Seems to take forever to actually find them. Good to know your sorting the niggle now instead of the bits for mot. How many miles u racked up since she been back on the road

Tell me about it, although only half of my dash is in at the moment and I kind of chucked that in as it will be coming out again soon...  :lipsrsealed:

done about 200 miles so far but am calming down as belt needs changing and timing still not quite right.

In other news, lowered the car another 10mm which is it's limit as hard cornering scrubs up front.

Sadly she has developed an oil leak.. expected with old seals.. another job for chapter 2.

it's not an oil leak, it's just marking it's teritory

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.

Right.... I've worked too hard to let myself feck it up again and driving on an old cambelt is not wise.

New one arrived today so I will not be driving again until it's fitted!  I'm not looking forward to it though as I struggled to get the current one lined up perfectly.
