Aum annoying problem
« on: 11 August 2014, 22:00 »
Has anyone got the problem at low revs you get a surge and a flat spot and a loud dv sound? Randomly? Ive got it and when I disconnect my maf it stops, I've replaced maf with genuine ones twice now and it still carrys on with maf connected But with it disconnected it feels like a different car? Any ideas? Cheers

Disconnecting the MAF will probably put it in a default map mode so you could have another condition sensing engine sensor gone i.e lambda etc.

Where all my moneys went.

It's very annoying,  I have a decat and I'm only using the first sensor the last one is disconnected, but it was doing it before I did this. Could it be my turbo actuator? As my car has a ko3 turbo with a ko3s intake pipe and actuator

If you're getting a surge then the DV is kicking in it sounds like over boost protection to me. The N249 will open the DV to protect your engine. You may want to look at your N75 valve as your other post suggests.

Why do you have a K03 on an AUM?

Hi mate,
Just a tip from my experience with this problem :-)
How thoroughly did you check ur hoses n such...I had same symptoms did all you have no splits on actual hose but every connection point had thin slits widthways along/under the clips.
