I did look at a c class once with the same interior, they also did it in red.

lol yeah, it is something special. As it is such a cheap car, im thinking maybe do something a little different with it. Matt black sprey paint. what ever i like. But then this car will sell for a lot more than I bought it for if I tidy it up further!

Just put this in another thread but id like to keep it in here as a sort of general to-do list so i can tick it all off as I go. All some time off yet.

clean the engine bay.
Repaint engine bay
hide engine loom (/tidy it. not looking for a full tuck)
cut rear quarters out and re weld.
10mm spacers on the rear
relocate battery to the boot
repaint engine block
smooth rear plinth and put a boot popper in.

ok cool well I had rubjonny look at the wireing for me and all looks fine we had no fuel but the pump was making a noise so fault this was ok. From the tank anyway . I no the. lambda sensor isn't plugs in as the connector is knakerd is this ok?

it will still run with no lambda plugged in. it will be giving the ECU no reading though so the car will run rich (and fail MOT emissions test even for non cat vehicles)

head over to mk2vr6.com, there's a wiring section on there

I don't think a semi will give the same results

Nice to meet you Russ ( i'm assuming?) Proper random...

If you have had jonny take a look your in  good hands. It doesnt sound like it can be much, but id need to look over the engine and go through a checklist in my head if you know what i mean before i could give you an idea.

the car should at least first without the lambda, but it wont run well.

Cheers lewis, the G60's up front are about 30mm wider, and at the rear about 15mm wider. Im looking to put 10mm spacers up the rear and 5 up front soon too making them ET 0 on the rear, ET 5 on the front :)
