Nice.

What exhaust have you got? Any trouble with welds breaking?

Mines a Longlife 2 box system with standard manifold/custom decat, and the 1st box (long thin one) keeps splitting around where the pipe goes in or out

got a new front (solid) engine mount and added a flexi section in the decat, so doubt its down to engine movement.... any ideas?

I don't think a semi will give the same results

I used to have a full scorpian system, (mk2 one so from downpipe back). I have basicaly cut it up to work with the vr. Its a bit of a mix of scorpian middle silencer + backbox, 6 branch, decat, and then powerflow pipe work to join up the silencers again. Take a look at the underneath of the car a page or so back.

Sounds either like dodgey welding or rust to me. My first thought would be engine movement but like you say you have a standard manifold so you shouldn't be have issues.

tis a stainless system which is about 3 years old i think, it all looks clean enough. the welding (where the pipe joins front and rear of the middle box) has been done at least once each side, cos our mechanics have sorted it.

i reckon i shall be back to longlife again (about 40 miles away)  as it has a lifetime guarantee.

like yours, mine is a mk2 system from the decat back - that shouldnt be causing the issue should it? i.e. pipe bore is too small?
