Title: yet another central lock prob.... argggghh!!!!!

can anyone please help? my central locking on one rear door seems to do as it pleases... sometimes locks and unlocks as normal and othertimes doesn't. if its locked and wont unlock then i can't even open from the inside??? the door makes a noise as if all is ok but button doesn't go up or down.. i've had door card off to check but don't really know what i'm looking for please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
