Hi Guys

I've got a mk3 GTI and am looking to add some more bass to my ICE, without losing boot space. It therefore looks like I'm limited to storing a subwoofer under the seat/s.

I have an Alpine CDE-9850Ri head unit and the speakers that I'm using are In Phase XT 6c in the front and In Phase XT 62 in the rear. The device has one pre-out which is not in use at the mo.

It would be good if I could find an "all in one" (amp and subwoofer) solution but if somebody can suggest an alternative, I'm all ears.

The most suitable products that I've been able to find so far are......

Any suggestions or guidance gratefully recieved!

Cheers

Lee

Lee there is a sticky up the top of this section that gives a sub solution in the rear of the nearside wheelarch, which only takes up a bit of boot space. You can also hang your amp on the opposite side.

Cheers Len - after I posted the entry I noticed the sticky.

I thought that I'd leave the posting to see if anybody had an alternative solution.

Thanks for your advice!

There was also thoughts of using the spare wheel well but never seen any results of that.

Surely you've seen the pics of my set up Tom?

Or do you mean the wheel well? Coz I aint done that, there was a thread about somebody doing it or at least a discussion about how to go about it.
